What You Need To Start
BoostBerry Convert is not affiliated with RIM/BlackBerry, Boost Mobile or Sprint/Nextel
What You Will Need In Addition To My Software Kit To Convert Your Blackberry To a Boost Mobile Boostberry Phone:
FOR SPRINT CDMA FLASHING
1) A Sprint Blackberry Curve 8330 or Tour 9630 phone with clean ESN.MEID number
2) You will need to have an active Boost Mobile account. (This will not work for new activations) If needed I can provide an IMEI number to activate a new account with purchase of the CDMA Software upon request.
3) Windows based PC or Laptop with USB Port and a USB Cable to connect your phone to your computer.
4) My CDMA Software Package which includes a 3 day Sign in Password where you will ahve access to download all the information and the software needed to Flash your Sprin Blackberry to Boost Mobile
NEXTEL iDEN CONVERSION
1) Nextel iDEN Blackberry Phone. Choose from one of the three Nextel Blackberry Smartphones: 7100i, 7520, 8350i
2) A Boost Mobile SIM Card fully activated with a phone number. You can use an existing SIM card or buy a Boost Mobile Starter Kit. (note: To activate new sim card you need to use the IMEI number of a non Blackberry Nextel phone
3) Windows PC or Laptop With A USB Port. You will need to connect your phone to the computer with a USB Data Cable.
4) You will need to download Blackberry Desktop Manager version 4.6 or higher will work. You can use the link I will provide you or you can load it directly to your computer from the Boostberry Resource CD or on blackberry.com website
5) You will need to make sure you have the most up to date operating system for your model phone. Most of the time your phone will not need an update for the 8350i but some will require an update. Almost all the time with the 7520 will need to be updated and the 7100i however some do not. The updated operating systems are also available by link on the website sign in page or on the BoostBerry Resource CD.
6) You will need to purchase from me the Software and Directions. With purchase I will send you everything else you will need to successfully convert your phone. The boostBerry CD also will provide you with a list of apps you can use to quickload onto your phone after conversion is complete.
